Gullbrandstorp: för Framtidsbild 2050

Värdet av arkiv är att de för samman element från olika perspektiv. Dynamiken inom det skapar ett rum där det lika mycket är framtiden som det förflutna som står på spel. Processen av att skapa arkiv för framtiden är en övning som ger oss chansen att existera på riktigt i det rum som är vårt, snarare än att bara bruka det, samtidigt som det också lämnar spår av denna existens i en okänd framtid. Det hjälper oss att ställa in vår antenn för att fånga upp platsens anda och ratta in dess kanal genom att se vardagen som en praktik.

“Gullbrandstorp: för Framtidsbild 2050” är ett kollaborativt, socialt engagerat projekt där invånarna i Gullbrandstorp kan arkivera och dela sina erfarenheter av att leva i byn idag, för “Framtidsbild 2050”. Målet med projektet är att invånarna kan berätta historien om sina egna liv för framtida generationer, för att arkivera sin egen plats i historien genom att dokumentera vad som sker omkring dem.

Under detta projekt samlas och publiceras era bidrag i en bok som distribueras till alla bibliotek i Region Halland, med en digital upplaga som är fritt tillgänglig för alla. Digitala bidrag såsom video och ljudinspelningar kommer att finnas online och länkas till i boken via en QR-kod.

ENGLISH Archives bring together elements from different perspectives. The dynamic within it creates a space where the future is as much at stake as the past. The process of creating archives for the future, is an exercise to give us the chance to truly exist in our space, rather than merely use it, while also leaving a trace of this existence for the unknown future. It helps us to tune our antennae in the space to pick up its vibe, to tune in to its groove by seeing the everyday as a practice. “Gullbrandstorp: for the future image of 2050”, is a collaborative socially engaged project for the residents of Gullbrandstorp to archive and share their experience of living in the village today, for the future image of 2050. The aim of this project is to have the residents narrate their current life in the village for the benefit of future generations, to archive their own place in the world by documenting what is happening around them.

Through this project, the collection of your contributions will be gathered and published in a book, distributed to all the public libraries in Halland region and with a digital edition freely available to all. Digital contributions such as video and audio recordings will be hosted online and linked in the book through a QR code.
