Sven Jons Udde, is a very interesting place – with multiple experiences.
The tradition, the surrounding modern lifestyle, industrialization and different types of weather conditions. Both beauty and destruction are both here. Since Amanuelabiy’s arrival to the place, he had the chance to experience both – beautiful weather and the presence of a very powerful storm. He finds it very interesting to see how the wind has shaped the surrounded trees and made them lean in one specific direction. “The trees we love – just blowing” is made of real tree timber and fabricated metal that are connected in order to complete a tree-like sculpture, visible from all angles.

Amanuelabiy Abraham Gemeda är utbildad b l a på HDK/Steneby. Arbetar främst med skulptur och metall. Ofta genom att det mer organiska och mjuka möter det som är stelt och geometriskt. Har ställt ut i Norden och internationellt t ex Etiopien. Deltar i kommande grupputställning i Telemark Kunstcenter i Norge.
